Eyeshadow Palette...

So, this is my first ever eyeshadow palette, and I am so excited to use it. Many people my age (I'm only 18) are masters of make-up, but I've only started liking make-up recently so lets see how it goes. I have always liked lipsticks, but my newfound interest in eyeshadows have been from watching make-up tutorials in youtube and let me tell you it is very fascinating. It looks very easy and after some time I guess that it will become easy, but for starters like me it seems like an herculean task :)

The palette that I purchased is from MUA and is called the Smokin Palette and it has 10 beautiful colours.

These are some swatches of the colours and they are highly pigmented and I think they will suit any skin tone.

Accidental swatch of the eye pencil

This is my first ever make-up palette, do let me know what was your first venture into make-up..

Car Boot Sale....

I have always loved going to car boot sales, the little stands for food are very very tasty(they might not be that good for you..but who cares!). So this was the first car boot sale I went to after arriving at University, I was very excited indeed.

It rained yesterday and this resulted in the ground being wet and thank god I wore my boots, anything else and it would have been absolutely muddy and icky. There were stalls ranging from fruits, vegetables, clothes, household items and everything you could imagine that would fit in a car boot.

I am very glad that I do not own any type of property, If I did I would have gone crazy and bought a huge amount of stuff which I probably would'nt need. Well, anyway my friend and me walked through the aisle's and I picked up two things; the first being this lipstick from the Kate Moss collection for Rimmel London and the second being Sally hansen's complete salon manicure bottom coat.

This lipstick is in the shade 12, Rossetto and it is from the Lasting Finish by Kate. This was a £1 and it was brand spanking new, can you believe it.

The Sally Hansen top/bottom coat was £2

After looking around at the car boot sale, we headed to primark where a few things were tried on and I found this dress which was £2, can you believe it?. I went to primark on the second week of October and did'nt buy this dress for some reason and here it was again for £2 in the second week of November(Karma, coincedence!). The dress was avaiable only in a size 10 and normally I am a size 12, I tried this on and it fit me perfectly, thank god for the odd primark sizing sometimes...

It is a smock dress and the back has these buttons half way down, which I like very much..

I am liking dresses at the moment and this is a very casual dress which is one of the best type of dress..

Do tell me what amazing things that you have found in a car boot sale, charity/thrift shop etc.

Memories 2...

Helloooo, so this is my second edition in the series, very excited that I am going to be doing this every wednesday and enjoyyyy...

This was made entirely of chocolate and cake, how awsome is that...

I still can't believe that I took this, it looks so professional and like it should be in a magazine or book cover..

We stayed at the Monte Carlo and this was our view, it was stunning in the night.

I think this was the bellagio pool area, but other than that I have no words...

There were many decorative pieces on a ornamental tree and this was one of them

Sooo, this is me and I am standing near this snail made entirely out of roses, yes roses..

Let me know what you like this week, it can be anything... and I would love to know.

Memories 1...

I love taking pictures, I love to capture things; beauty, scenery, life, etc. I thought I would start a segment where I post pictures that I have taken and pictures that I like, this can be from anywhere and about anything.

My brother had this nutella, chocolate and brownie crepe in the Bellagio, Las Vegas.

The Monte Carlo Magical Fountain Show, we saw this quite a few times, an every time it was amazing.

Pictures are memories and it is good to have a lot of memories, when you look back at them you remember the place where the picture was taken and all you felt at that moment rushes back, whether it be good or bad, and I love that..

I had to take a picture of this sign, it is just classic and I have decided that whatever place I visit in the near future, I will definitely be taking pictures with the name of the place.

This is in the Paris Shopping Centre.

How lovely does this look..

And I am going to be doing this every Wednesday, because it is my favourite day of the week other than the weekend(obviously). Let me know what you like and tell me a good memory...

Salmon...

I am in Uni, it is very exciting and there is a lotttt to study, but cooking...You try really hard to cook and be really healthy, but that does'nt seem possible after all the lectures, watching youtube and being lazy in general. After I have actually cooked something, it seems like I am eating real food and that is really amazing..

Sooo, Here we go...

The recipe...(For 1 person)
Salmon Fillet
Lemon
Salt and Pepper
Chilli Powder

I used this lemon Jif, it is basically lemon juice in a tiny little bottle, you can use whatever else you have..

Place the salmon in a bowl and add the pepper, salt, chilli powder, lemon juice and anything else that you want to garnish it with. Mix everything and let it marinate for about 30 mins to an hour.

Heat a pan and add some oil to fry the salmon, you can oven cook it, if you wish. After the oil heats a bit, add the salmon and fry it till it is to your preferred texture, I fried mine till it looked like it was nearly burnt..

I promise you that I did not pour so much oil, the salmon releases some oils...

After the salmon is done, serve with some salad, dressing and Voila you are done, finito!!!

If any of you are in Uni, hope this is helpful and it really doesn't take long, marinate and fry that's it. If you are vegetarian you could always eat it with quorn instead.

I ate mine with some kiwi, kiwi and green grapes are my favourite right now, what is yours??

Sparkle...

My mum has beautiful taste and she bought me some jewellery from Primark. When I go into Primark I just have a look around the shop, I skim past the jewellery section because there is sooo much...

As everyone say's there are some gems in Primark, but you have to look for them, really look for them and these are gems. I love jewellery but I just don't have the patience to envision everything when I buy them.

I think earrings are a must, they just are beautiful and I absolutely love them, I guess it is a good thing that I have so many...

I am getting swept into the crazy knuckle/midi ring trend, I just want some, they just look really cool and I think that they would suit me.

Well you know what I am going to be looking for..anything that you particularly like or are crazed about??
